The Top Ten Women on Television of 2013

Michonne - The Walking Dead
Cristina Yang - Grey's Anatomy
Michonne, the only woman I've ever liked on The Walking Dead (probably the best thing about the show in general, in my opinion), is literally the definition of badass. A katana-wielding, zombie slaying, Governor ass-kicking badass. Loyal, perhaps to a fault, Michonne will always have your back. Unless you scheme against her. In that case, be prepared to literally lose your head. Michonne has come up with some ingenious ways of surviving the zombie apocalypse, including breaking the teeth and cutting the arms off of walkers to use as her own personal carriers. I'm literally so impressed by this, that heaven forbid the zombie apocalypse does happen, I'm going to use her methods as my guide. We don't know terribly much about her background but I can't wait to see what's in store.
Cristina has not, does not, and hopefully will never fit the mold of what the media has led us to believe every woman wants from her life: marriage, children, and a white picket fence. She wants to be a surgeon. She wants to be the best surgeon; everything else is secondary. She’s been pregnant twice and both times was very clear about her desire to have an abortion (she lost the first due to complications; she aborted the second). She loves Owen but will not sacrifice parts of herself or her ambition to appease him. Some would call that selfish, but I see nothing wrong with being selfish sometimes. While compromise is needed to an extent, Cristina has always chosen to fight against compromise in the most important areas of her life: her body and her dream. And she is better, not worse, for it.
"People with nothing to hide don't usually feel the need to say so."

“Oh, screw beautiful, I’m brilliant! You wanna appease me, compliment my brain!”
