"Synesthesia"

Following along on that Andrew McMahon tangent, I cannot get enough of the first track of his latest, "The Pop Undeground EP." A perfect blend of electronica, soulful lyrics and the piano-rock that we've come to know, love and expect of the Jack's lead singer. Here's to hoping for a full length album, Andrew's definitely got in in him.

The Guild Official Companion

I, like many other geeks, LOVE "The Guild." So when I saw that there was an Official Companion, I knew where part of my next week's paycheque was going. An insightful look into the creation of the gamer webseries, it's great for people wanting to learn more about the show and for those thinking about creating their own content.

Felicia Day Replies

I have to say, probably the best part about Twitter is the opportunity to chat with your favourite celebrities. Usually it is a very one-sided conversation, but sometimes you get lucky.

I've been lucky a few times getting Felicia Day replies, and each time I get one it fills me with unabashed glee. Good on you, Day. You made a fangirl very happy.

Andrew McMahon

Anyone who knows me at all knows about my love affair with the music of Andrew McMahon, from his his amazing records with Something Corporate, going through Jack's Mannequin and now into his solo effort "The Pop Underground EP." I don't know what it is about him, his interesting voice, amazing lyrics, his soulful piano-infused rock numbers. Regardless, he'll remain my favourite for years to come.
