Leslie Knope - Parks and Recreation
Leslie Knope - Parks and Recreation
Leslie Knope will be the first female President of the United States. And if she isn't, something has gone terribly, horribly wrong. A woman determined to make a difference in her small town of Pawnee, Indiana, where good deeds go mostly unnoticed and often punished, Leslie refuses to give up. Ambitious to an insane degree, she gets shit done and she takes her work seriously. Which she adores. You really will never find someone more dedicated to the people, town and work that she loves than Ms. Knope. Plus, she thinks breakfast food should be the only food consumed ever. With that kind of savvy, who wouldn't nominate her?
Leslie is happiness, sunshine, and waffles. She is adorable, perpetually positive, determined, flawed, and gooey on the inside and out. It’s easy to aspire to be a fantastical character with dragons or look up to a character with high-paid, glamorous job that could save a country; Leslie Knope is neither. She is a small town government employee who spends her days trying to build a park or hoping to keep a mini golf course from being torn down. She is one of the few characters on television whose ideal seems attainable. She seems like someone you can actually be. Plus, she’s married to Ben Wyatt, nerd extraordinaire. How could you not like her?
"Yellow haired female… likes waffles and news."

“What I hear when I'm being yelled at is people caring loudly at me.”
