Charlie Bradbury - Supernatural
Nancy Crozier - The Good Wife
Though Charlie isn’t a main character on Supernatural (yet..?), she is still so wonderful and great that I would be remiss if I didn’t include her somewhere on this list. Unabashedly brainy and a lover of all things geek, Charlie wows the Winchesters with her computer know-how. Honestly, my favourite thing about Charlie is that she immediately accepts the weird paranormal stuff going on around her and jumps into action, as you know she’s been preparing/hoping for this her whole life. Though the writers may have gone a little bit overboard on her bobble head collection (we get it. She’s a nerd. You don’t have to slap us in the face with it), Charlie is such a fun character that I could easily have her show up weekly as the Winchesters plucky sidekick, getting them through technological walls and getting the girl at the same time. Also: Felicia Day. Need I say more?
Nancy is the perfect snake in the grass. She is well aware of the stereotype that comes to mind when people look at her, so she beats them by playing into it. She plays judges and jury alike, using her blonde, wide-eyed innocence to convince them that she’s in over her head; if they don’t rule in her favour, the big bad corporate lawyers will win. While Alicia fights against what’s expected of her, Nancy is her perfect foil, playing into the gross childlike femaleness the ol’ boys club expects so she can yank the rug out from under them while they’re still fawning over her. I always enjoy her guest spots because her spars with Alicia are perfect games of words; neither woman ever comes right out and gets vicious, but both are well aware of what the other is doing.
"I'm gonna kick it in the ass."
